Reed Wilson, principal broker and owner of his firm, The Wilson Group, has been serving Richmond, Virginia, and the surrounding areas of Chesterfield and Henrico for more than twenty years, attracted to the area’s continuing evolution.

The Richmond area is culturally diverse, offers eclectic food choices, and a bustling brewery scene, creating an endless array of things to do. Furthermore, the area is a perfect location for grassroots entrepreneurs to thrive.

Reed is continually participating in networking events to meet and work with other business owners to be a valuable referral resource. He also works with a leadership group whose recent work includes renovating rooms in a local homeless shelter.

In addition to his networking and volunteer work, Reed supports his community with charitable donations to multiple worthy causes.

Satisfied that RVA is the ideal area to live, Reed, formerly in retail management, embraced the opportunity to help others buy their dream home, and sellers put that “sold” sign in their yard – tasks he’s been accomplishing with accolades for two decades.

Reed works with integrity and authenticity, establishing a teamwork environment that includes serving clients’ needs while also having fun and focusing on everyone’s best interests.

Where some real estate professionals lock clients in with time-specific contracts, Reed doesn’t believe in holding clients hostage. Instead, he takes pride in building long-lasting relationships. Reed Wilson has earned multiple distinguished honors and certifications during his real estate career. Through the National Association of Realtors® (NAR®), Reed has obtained:

• CRB® Certified Real Estate Brokerage manager

And from a local association, in 2019, Reed was a graduate of the Leadership Development Academy.

Reed founded his company, The Wilson Group, in 2013 so that he could offer clients a fantastic experience during the real estate process — but more importantly, to attract other like-minded Realtors® to align himself with helping others grow their business.

When not working, Reed enjoys hitting up happy hour with friends or catching red-eye flights to witness VCU men’s basketball, of which he’s a die-hard fan. He’s also a die-hard fan of his golden retriever, Wesley. Reed also likes to travel, with favorite vacation spots of Italy, Puerto Vallarta, Dominican Republic, Belize, and the Caribbean.
