The average sale price for single family homes in the Richmond Metro area at the end of November 2022 was $438,816, which is up 13.5% year to year from $386,737.

There was a total of 805 single-family properties sold during November, this is a drop of 39.1% compared to 1,321 sold during the previous November.

Pending sale activity also fell year to year, dropping 44.6% from 1,321 pending sales during November 2021 to just 805 pending sales for November 2022.

Single-family homes in the ChesterfieldHenricoHanover, and Richmond City counties are on the market for an average of 18 days before being sold, and sellers are getting just 99.7% of their original asking price at closing.

At the end of November 2022, there were just 1.2 months of single-family home inventory available in the Richmond Metro, this is up 71.4% compared to the previous November.

There was a total of 188 condo properties sold last month, compared to the previous November this is a 31.4% drop in sales activity from 274.

There have been just 2,353 condo properties that have gone under contract in the Richmond Metro area so far this year, this is a drop of 20.6% from 2,965 total pending properties at this time in 2021.

Condos for sale in the Richmond Metro were on the market for an average of 24 days during November 2022, and sellers of condos are getting 100.2% of their original asking price for their condo at closing.

Condo inventory at the end of November in the Richmond Metro was at 1.5 months, which is up from 1.1 months at this time one year ago.
