The average sale price for single-family homes in the Richmond metro ended October 2020 at $361,491, an increase of 17.1% from $308,815 one year ago.

There were 1,458 single family units sold during October, 1,435 listings went under contract, and 1,631 new listings became available in ChesterfieldHanoverHenrico, and Richmond City.

Homes in those areas stayed on the market for an average of 20 days until being sold, sellers received 101.1% of their list price when their property sold, and there is only 1.1 month of housing inventory available in the Richmond metro area.

🏠 Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, & Richmond City Condo Stats Quick Stats

The average sale price for condos in Richmond ended October at $289,300, a 8.3% rise in price from $267,082 one year ago.

There were 288 condos sold during October, 264 pending sales, and 259 new listings hit the market.

In Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, and Richmond City, condos stayed on the market an average of 26 days before being sold, sellers were getting 99.9% of their list price at closing, and there is only 1.5 months of condo inventory available.
