πŸ“Š Chesterfield County Housing Stats

The average sales price for homes in Chesterfield County for September 2019 is $288,556; this is up 2.64% from this time last year.

The average sale price for attached homes is $239,960; this is lower than the September 2018 average of $263,872.

The average sale price for detached housing is $295,483; this is up 4.40% from this time last year.

Average sales price condos for the month ended at $258,318, down 13.87% from last year’s average of $299,928.

The sale to list price ratio is 98.9% and houses are the market for an average of 33 days.

There were 537 housing units sold during September 2019, this is up from 443 sold during September 2018.

There were 707 new listings in September 2019, 582 listings under contract, and the Chesterfield real estate market currently has 1,236 active listings.

A total of 48 homes were sold for cash, 276 used conventional financing, 110 were FHA loans, and 63 were financed by VA loans.

🏘 Chesterfield Detached Housing Statistics

In Chesterfield County the average sale price for detached homes for September 2019 is $295,483; this number is up 4.4% from $283,032 one year ago. There were 470 detached units sold during September 2019, 17.79% higher than the 399 sold during September 2018.

A total of 14 two-bedroom or fewer homes sold last month, up from eight the previous year. Of the two-bedroom detached homes sold, five of these were homes priced under $99,999, and nine were priced higher than $100,000.

The market for three-bedroom detached homes saw an increase in activity, 185 sold last month compared to 166 the year prior. The average sale price for three-bedroom detached homes during September 2019 was $230,764, up from $220, 634 one year ago.

There was a total of 271 four-bedroom or more detached homes sold during September 2019, an increase of 4.10% from 225 during September 2018. The average sale price for four-bedroom or more detached homes was $346,358, up from $332,728 one year ago.

A 106 four-bedroom or more detached homes sold in the $200-299,000 price range, the next highest was in the $300-399,000 price range with 79, and 37 were sold in the $400-499,000 price range.

🏘 Chesterfield Attached Housing Statistics

The average sales price of attached homes in Chesterfield County ending September 2019 is $239,960; this is down from $263,872 one year ago.Β There were 67 attached units sold, an increase of 52.27% compared to September 2018.

The average sale price for two-bedroom or fewer homes was $206,061, an increase from $188,000 one year ago.

A total of 10 two-bedroom or less attached units sold during September 2019, up from four the previous year.

There were two sold for $149,499 or less, four were sold for $150-199,000, and four were sold for $200,000 and higher.

The average sales price for three-bedroom homes in Chesterfield County is $236,754; down from $254,483 one year ago. A total of 36 three-bedroom homes were sold during September 2019, up from 23 the year prior.

The $200-299,000 price range had the highest number of sold units with 18, 12 three-bedroom units sold for $199,000 or less, and six three-bedroom units sold for $300,000 or higher.

The average sale price of four-bedroom or more homes heading into September 2019 is $275,560, down only slightly from the $276,548 sales average one year ago. Four homes were sold, three in the $200-299,000 price range, and one in the $300-399,000 price range.

🏒 Chesterfield County Condo Stats

Condo sales began in September 2019 with an average sales price of $253,318, a drop of 13.87% from $299,928 one year ago.

There were nine condos sold during the month for $299,999 or less, and there were eight that sold for $300,000 and higher.

πŸ“Š Henrico County Housing Stats

The average sale price for homes in Henrico County for September 2019 is $292,168; up from $291,549 one year ago.

The sale to list price ratio is 97.8% and homes are on the market for an average of 32 days.

A total of 429 housing units sold during September 2019 in Henrico County, this is up from 361 one year ago.

There were 502 new listings to hit the market in September, 467 went under contract, and there are a total of 723 active listings in Henrico County.

There 63 units sold for cash, 250 used conventional financing, 72 were FHA financed, and 18 were financed by VA loans.

🏘 Henrico County Detached Homes Statistics

The average sale price for detached homes in Henrico County ended the month of September 2019 at $301,799, up from the $290,677 average one year ago. A total of 324 detached units sold, an increase from the September 2018 number of 278 sold.

A total of 21 two-bedroom or fewer homes sold for an average sale price of $131,143, this is down from the average one year ago of $157,536. There were eight two-bedroom homes sold for $99,000 or less, ten were sold between the $100-199,000 price range, and three were sold in the $200-299, 000 price range.

There were 148 three-bedroom detached homes sold during September 2019, for an average sale price of $231,287; which is an increase from the September 2018 average of $207,142.

The price range that saw the most activity was the $200-299,000 price range with a total of 80 homes sold, the next highest was in the $150-199,000 price range, 16 were sold for $149,000 or less, and a total of 19 were sold for $300,000 and higher.

The four-bedroom detached housing average sale price increased from this time last year from $387,246 to $392,247; a total of 155 units were sold, which is also an increase from 135 sold one year ago.

The price range of $200-299,000 saw the highest total of homes sold at 43, the $300-399,000 price range was the next highest at 38, and the $400-499,000 had a total of 31 homes sold during September 2019.

🏘 Henrico County Attached Home Statistics

The average sale price for attached homes in Henrico County heading into September 2019 is $262,452; a 10.87% decrease from the $294,468 average one year ago. There were 105 detached units sold last month, up from 83 compared to this time last year.

A total of eight two-bedroom or less attached units sold for an average selling price of $184,250, this average has held steady compared to 12 months ago. A total of five units were sold in the $150-199,000 price range, and three were sold in the $200-299,000 price range.

During September 2019, there were 59 three-bedroom attached homes sold for an average sales price of $270,325, an increase of 2.08% from the average this time last year.

There were 22 homes sold in the $300-399,000 price range, 16 in the $150-199,000 price range, and the next highest total was in the $200-299,000 price range with eight units sold.

Four-bedroom or more attached housing sold for an average of $433,916, down quite a bit from the $583,357 average this time last year. There were only six four-bedroom or more homes sold during September 2019, down from 13 this time last year.

The $300-399,000 price range had three units sold, one unit sold in the $150-199,000 price range, and two four-bedroom or more attached homes sold for $500,000 and higher.

🏒 Henrico County Condo Stats

Taking a look at condo sales statistics, the average sale price was $235,337 ending September 2019, this is only slightly higher than the $233,026 average from one year ago.

A total of 32 condos were sold during the month, up from 23 during September 2018.

A total of ten were sold for $149,999 or less, 12 were sold in the $150-299,000 price range, and ten were sold for $300,000 and higher.
