The average sales price for homes in Chesterfield County, Virginia, heading in to December 2019 is $295,001, down 0.61% compared to this time last year. The median sold price for homes, (which excludes the high & low numbers) is $264,500, which is up slightly, 0.67% from one year ago.

There were 503 total units sold during November 2019, 478 new listings, 502 new pending sales, and a total of 1,113 active listings in the Chesterfield County real estate market.

Homes averaged approximately 33 days on the market before being sold, and sellers sold to original list price ratio was 98.1%

 

🏘 Chesterfield Detached Housing Statistics

The average sale price for detached homes in the Chesterfield County real estate market for November 2019 was $302,596, down slightly from $305,340 one year ago. There were a total of 449 detached units sold, an increase from 409 the previous November.

There were eight two-bedroom or less detached homes sold during November 2019. The average sale price of two-bedroom homes was $185,911, up 17.17% from %158,667 the previous November. A total of four two-bedroom homes sold in the $200-299,000 price range, and $100-149,000 price bracket had three sold.

There were a total of 175 three-bedroom detached homes sold during November 2019 for an average sale price of $228,610; this is an increase of 3.96% from $219,905 in November 2018.

A total of 94 homes sold in the $200-299,000 price range, 49 sold from $150-199,000. There were 20 three-bedroom homes sold for $300,000 or higher, and 12 homes sold for $149,000 or less.

A total of 266 detached four-bedroom or more homes sold in Chesterfield County during November 2019 for an average sale price of $354,781; this is down from $362,451 in November 2018. A total of 99 four-bedroom homes sold in the $200-299,000 price range.

There were 81 four-bedroom homes sold in between the price of $300-399,000; 42 were sold in the $400-499,000 price bracket. There were 32 four-bedroom homes sold for $500,000 or higher, and 12 four-bedroom homes sold for $199,000 or less.

There were a total of 26 condo units sold during November 2019, down from 19 during November 2018. Condo units sold for an average sale price of $218,069; down 10.21% from $242,856 one year ago.

🏘 Chesterfield Attached Housing Statistics

The average sale price for attached housing units in Chesterfield County ending November 2019 was $231,845; this is up 1.49% from $228,452 at this time last year. There were a total of 54 attached units sold, an increase from 51 during November 2018.

A total of four two-bedroom or less attached units sold during November 2019, compared to six a year ago. The average sold price for two-bedroom or less homes was $205,488, this was up 12.92% from $181,293 compared to November 2018.

There were a total of 22 three-bedroom attached homes sold in Chesterfield County during November 2019, for an average sale price of $245,513. This is an increase of 7.69% from the average of $227,978 for November 2018. The $200-299,000 price range had the highest number of sales, 14, for the month.

There were only two four-bedroom or more attached homes sold during November 2019. The average sale price was $313,295, up 32.35% from $236,713 one year ago. The two homes sold were in the $300-399,000 price range.

The average sale price for homes in Henrico County, Virginia, entering December 2019 is $313,233, up 4.27% from $300,406 compared to this time last year. The median sales price for homes during this time was $267,500, an increase of 8.0% from $247,500 one year ago.

There were 348 new listings in November 2019, 353 closed sales, 369 pending sales, and a total of 684 active listings in the Henrico County real estate market.

Homes averaged 34 days on the market before being sold, and sellers sold price versus list price averaged 98.6%.

 

🏘 Henrico County Detached Homes Statistics

There were a total of 268 detached housing units sold during November 2019 for an average sale price of $325,292; up from 254 units sold at an average sale price of $305,177.

A total of 17 two-bedroom homes sold in Henrico County in November 2019 compared to 20 a year ago. Two-bedroom homes sold for an average sale price of $163,662, which is up from last year’s average sale price of $145,963.

There were 12 homes sold during this time between the prices of $100-199,000, four were sold for $200,000 or higher, and one was sold for less than $99,000.

There were 124 three-bedroom detached homes sold, up from 100 during November 2018, for an average sale price of $237,589, a decrease of 1.73% from $241,777 12 months ago.

The price range with the highest activity was the $200-299,000 bracket having 61 detached homes sold, the $150-199,000 price range had the next highest number of homes sold with 29, 12 detached homes were sold for $149,000 or less, and 22 were sold for $300,000 or higher.

There were 127 four-bedroom or more homes sold during November 2019 for an average sale price of $432,559, up from $376,254 one year ago. There were 33 homes sold in the $200-299,000 price range, and also 33 sold in the $300-399,000 price range.

A total of nine four-bedroom or more homes sold for $199,000 or less, and 52 detached four-bedroom homes sold for $400,000 or higher.

There were a total of 28 condos sold during November 2019 for an average sale price of $263,027; this is up 6.09% from $247,926 one year ago. A total condo’s sold in the $200-299,000 price range, and six sold between $300-399,000.

🏘 Henrico County Attached Home Statistics

The average price for attached housing in Henrico County for November 2019 was $275,212, down from $289,487 one year ago. A total of 85 attached units sold during this time, down from 111 in November 2018.

The average price for two-bedroom homes sold during November 2019 was $241,823, down from $244,570 last year.

There were 14 two-bedroom homes sold in November 2019, down from 13 12 months ago. There were six that sold in between the price of $150-199,000, six sold for $200,000 or higher, and a total of 2 sold for $149,000 or less.

A total of 38 three-bedroom homes sold during November 2019 for an average sale price of $276,528, down from $280,858 one year ago.

A total of 14 homes sold in the $200-299,000 price range, 12 were sold between the price of $300-399,000, 9 were sold for $199,000 or less, and total of three were sold for $400,000 or higher.

There were five four-bedroom or more homes sold in Henrico County during November 2019, compared to nine last year; and sold for an average sales price of $426,873, this is down from $556,794 12 months ago.
