πŸ“Š Chesterfield County Housing Stats

In February 2020, the average sale price for homes in Chesterfield County was $288,832; sale prices last month increased 5.30% from $273,875 one year ago.

There were 388 homes sold in Chesterfield County during February, an increase in activity by 13.78% when compared to one year ago. There were 506 new listings on the market, a decrease of 14.8% from January 2020.

There was an increase in buyer activity in February; new pending sales were up 15.4% from 553 to 638 when compared to one year ago.

A total of 388 sales were closed last month, an increase of 13.8% from 341 one year ago to 388 in February 2020.

Chesterfield County ended February with a total of 794 active listings, homes averaged 42 days on the market before being sold, and sellers were getting 98.8% of asking price for their home.

🏘 Chesterfield Detached Housing Statistics

At the end of February 2020 in Chesterfield County, there were a total of 339 detached units sold. Detached homes sold for an average of $293,044, an increase of 5.74% from $277,138 one year ago.

There was a total of seven two-bedroom less detached homes sold for an average sale price of $185,454, an increase from $172,219 when compared to February of last year.

Last month in Chesterfield County there were 134 three-bedroom homes sold for an average sale price of $233,701, this is up 8.62% from the average of $213,314 one year ago.

A total of 198 four-bedroom or larger detached homes sold last month for an average sales price of $338,363, a slight increase from the previous year average of $331,156.

🏘 Chesterfield Attached Housing Statistics

Last month in Chesterfield County the average sale price for attached homes was $256,130, an increase from $243,227 from one year ago. There was a total of 49 attached units sold, up from 33 during this time last year.

There were six two-bedroom or less attached homes sold last month for an average selling price of $209,823, an increase in the average sale price from last year of 24.2%.

A total of 20 three-bedroom attached homes sold in February for an average sale price of $246,796, which is also a year to year increase of 16.23% from $212,336.

There were only two four-bedroom or larger attached homes sold last month for an average sale price of $215,400, a decrease of 13.94% from $250,280 compared to this time last year.

Chesterfield County Condo Stats

Condos in Chesterfield County sale price averaged $282,284, an increase from the previous February average of $278,159. There was a total of 21 condos sold last month, up from 15 one year ago.

During February 2020 in Henrico County, the average sale price for homes was $299,983, the average sale price is up 7.02% from $280,307 compared to this time last year.

There were a total of 316 units sold last month, up from 277 at this time last year. Homes were on the market for an average of 50 days before being sold, and sellers were getting 98.1% of their asking price.

There were a total of 385 new listings on the market in Henrico County, an increase of 17.4% from January 2020.

A total of 470 sales were pending at the end of February, a month to month increase of 15.5%.

There were 316 closed sales last month, an increase of 14.5% from the 276 closings during January 2020.

🏘 Henrico County Detached Homes Statistics

Detached home sales made up for 228 of the 316 units sold during February 2020, an increase from 208 the previous year. Detached home sales price averaged $318,940, up from $284,441 one year ago.

There were only twelve two-bedroom or less homes sold last month for an average sale price of $171,038, up 57.22% from $108,791 during this time last year.

A total of 102 three-bedroom homes sold, for an average sale price of $233,088, an increase from $228,076 one year ago.

There were 114 four-bedroom or larger homes sold during February 2020 for an average sale price of $411,324, up from $360,304 one year ago.

🏘 Henrico County Attached Home Statistics

At the end of February 2020, the average sale price for attached homes in Henrico County was $250,868, a decrease of 6.34% from $267,847 one year ago. There were a total of 88 attached units sold, up from 69 during February of last year.

A total of 15 two-bedroom or less attached homes sold for an average of $222,190, an increase of 2.13% from $217,564 one year ago.

There were only six four-bedroom or larger homes sold in Henrico County during February 2020. Four-bedroom or larger homes sold for an average price of $530,886, up from $422,282 one year ago.

Henrico County Condo Stats

During February in Henrico County, there were 33 condos sold for an average sale price of $245,749, up 6.22% from $231,365 the previous February.

There is currently a great deal of uncertainty in all areas of the country. While prices have trended upward in the housing market the coming months may see slowdown inactivity.
