Going into September 2019, the average sale price for homes in Chesterfield County, Virginia, was $309,377; this is up from $291,080 one year ago.

There were 678 homes sold during August 2019, up from 659 during August 2018. Homes averaged 30 days on the market before being sold, and the average sale price to list price ratio was 99.2%.

The average attached home sale price in Chesterfield County was $247,234, up slightly from $246,993 one year ago. There were 65 attached units sold during August 2019, up from 53 in August 2018.

Detached home sale prices ended August 2019 at $315,977, up from $294,935 one year ago, 613 detached homes sold, an increase of 1.16% year to year.

Chesterfield County had 718 new listings on the market during August, ending the summer buying season down 5.7% compared to this time last year.

Pending sales for August were up 10.8% from 563 to 624 from August of last year, closed sales also ended the month 2.9% higher from 659 to 678.

There were a total of 1,238 active listings available in Chesterfield County ending August 2019. Homes were on the market an average of 30 days before being sold, and the sold to list price ratio average 99.2%.

🏘 Chesterfield Detached Housing Statistics

There were a total of 3 two-bedroom or less detached homes sold in Chesterfield County for an average sale price of $182,333, this is higher than that average of $145,113 during August 2018.

A total of 218 three-bedroom homes sold for an average sale price of $233,456, up 8.08% from $216,011 this time one year ago.

There 392 four-bedroom or more homes sold in Chesterfield County for an average sale price of $362,681.

The August 2019 sales average was 4.26% higher than the August 2018 average sale price of $347,878.

🏘 Chesterfield Attached Housing Statistics

There were a total of eight attached homes sold during August 2019, for an average sales price of $230,823, an increase from $194,429 one year ago.

A total of 27 three-bedroom attached homes sold last month for an average sale price of $256,448, increasing 12.13% compared to August 2018.

There were seven four-bedroom or more homes sold during August 2019 for an average sale price of $230,510, a decrease of 3.35% from $238,500 in August 2018.

🏒 Chesterfield County Condo Stats

There were a total of 23 condos sold during August 2019 for an average sales price of $247,216.

The condo sales average was lower than the August 2018 average of $275,003.

The average sale price for homes in Henrico County, Virginia, during August 2019 was $310,322, down 2.29% when compared to the August 2018 average of $317,588.

There were 489 home sales in Henrico County in August 2019; this is down 9.4% compared to last month, and down 0.8% compared to August 2018.

A total of 547 new listings came to market, down 5.2% from last month, but up 10.7% from this time last year. There were 481 properties that were pending at the end of August 2019, down 7.5% from last month.

Homes were on the market for an average of 27 days before being sold, and the sold to list price ratio increased slightly month to month to 99.4%.

🏘 Henrico County Detached Homes Statistics

There was a total of 16 two-bedroom detached homes sold during August 2019 for an average sale price of $154,868. Two-bedroom detached home sales prices are up 21.10% from $127,889 compared to a year ago.

There was 151 three-bedroom detached homes sold for an average sales price of $232,551, this is down slightly from the August 2018 average of $234,071.

In Henrico County during August 2019 there were 198 detached four-bedroom or more homes sold for an average sales price of $382,459, this is down 10.96% from $429,544 during August 2018.

🏘 Henrico County Attached Home Statistics

There were 124 attached units sold during August 2019 in Henrico County for an average selling price of $309,900, the average sales price is higher than the $282,655 average sale price during August 2018.

A total of 14 two-bedroom or less attached homes sold for the month, for an average sale price of $190,164. The average is lower than the August 2018 sale price of $279,033.

There were 55 three-bedroom attached homes sold during August 2019 for an average sale price of $302,115, the August average is up 4.58% from $288,881 when compared to last year.

In Henrico County during August 2019 a total of 15 four-bedroom or more homes sold for an average sale price of $488,961, this is down from the August 2018 average of $528,080.

There were 40 condos sold in Henrico County during August 2019 for an average sales price of $295,363, this is up 35.93% from $217,290 one year ago.
